Polish accounting company.

Exploring the connection with the 'S' and the abacus for this accounting and
taxation advice company. I wanted to use rarely used colour combinations
to create a solid brand identity for Sprzedam Koszty.

Martino Scovacricchi - Album design

Album design for the very talented Martino Scovacricchi. His music can be
found here - http://www.scovacricchi.net/artist.php?view=media
He describes the sound as having a sense of contrast and duality, which
I used visually on the front cover with a black and white split, this is also
shown on the monotonal 'inside left' and CD.  I hand drew the lines for the
back cover "above" in the style of a reference image he supplied me with.

Corporate Logo design

Corporate logo design for Focus Hub, a Computer System Integration Company.

I-phone game.

Part of my design submission for a Russian games designer, he was working on an impressive tank defence game and wanted logos, splash screens, loading screens etc.

This was a moody tank commanders helmet I drew with a graphics tablet.
IRON-HERO was the title taken by the designer and so signing this on the helmet
gave it a personal touch along with other details such as the kill score marks etched above the right goggle.

IOS App logo - Zombie game

Creepy yes! and so it should be. This is my design for an ios app logo
for a zombie survival game to be released soon. Based on my own eye
to avoid copyright infringement, the late night, bloodshot eyes also helped!

Another album cover design in progress...

Screenshots of the stages of the design process - The client wanted a hand drawn,
cartoonistic style, similar to that of winnie the pooh, but have colours and form
to represent the hard rock style of music. Apples rise back up into the tree as an onlooker stands in awe.
The ideas were all of the clients imagination, it was just my job to visualise these.

Original sketch after scanning - inverted to help eliminate blemishes.

RISK - bar/restaurant logo design

Whilst designing my portfolio, I enjoy 'branding' each page,
this new logo for the scheme gives me a raw style and colour/
texture to follow through into the layout.

D&AD entry - spacial design for Holiday inn

Part of the animated design proposal for a redesign of the holiday inn
check-in experience. The problem of working on an artificial screen before bed +
the problem of jet lag could be solved with a 'natural light bar' emitting a dose
of natural light to help reset the body clock and keep people from using laptops
in bed (which aids in solving the problem of erratic Melatonin levels).

Sketchup import to 3dsMAX
Added walls to help define the angle needed to match up with
the photo of a holiday inn lobby.
Final render with a little photoshop magic and hand drawing to
give an idea of the 'Light Bar' in-situ.

Etive Mor - Scotland

Etive Mor - Scotland
An experiment of mixing watercolours and chalk for
the first time, the waxy coat from the watercolours
meant that any chalk could only be drawn in the gaps
between allowing for some interesting textures to
be produced. I started this piece whilst in scotland but
only now had the time to finish it off working from a
photograph.

Finishing an old sketch I recently found.

Decided to make the most of the weather and
head to castle hill to finish an old sketch
of Linhope Spout plungepool , Northumberland
...until it got cold. A nice backdrop to
draw to nevertheless. (The lighting looks
unnatural because the flash was turned on.)
